Up here at over 2,000 metres, the day's skiing starts quickly and easily. No need for a shuttle bus, no searching for a parking space, no stress. There are freshly groomed slopes, clear mountain air and plenty of sunshine - all just outside the front door.

Glide elegantly down wide carving slopes, venture onto crisp, steeper slopes, or cruise leisurely down into the valley. The choice is yours.

The skiing area reaches uphill to an altitude of over 3,000 metres with snow virtually guaranteed from November to the end of April.

Skiing makes everyone hungry, so rustic alpine restaurants, panoramic-view bars and catered sunny terraces are just what you need. Delicious refreshments are part of the experience up here.

And after the last swing?
